Human Religions
Humans are not fond of religion, and few follow anything but their own moral code. Those who do are either of the Kindoke Faith or, more rarely, a follower of the ancient Rokere ways.
The Kindoke Faith, though not frequently followed, is consider the main religion of the Humans. The religion is named after Kindoke, the blue spring of all life, who it's followers believe brought forth all life in Estel Úqua. Clerics are said to be able to give life, even to the dead and it's rumored that the rare Kindoke Paladin cannot be killed, although many Sorcerers and Historians doubt the truth of that tale.
Rockere is an animistic faith, with no deities to call on. The few humans who still follow this ancient belief are frequently Druids or Rangers and are said to have an uncommonly good hand with animals.
Background, Culture, History, and Lore of Humans
This page contains in-depth information on Human Culture including History, Lore, and specific information on cities and towns within the Human Kingdoms.
Not for the faint of heart, this page is intended for those who wish to play a Human or a halfsie who grew up in Human realms.
Creative, innovative, jack-of-all trades. These terms describe Humans best. Without the innate magic or strength of other cultures, they have still managed to carve out a place for themselves in the world, learn magic, and produce some of the strongest warriors. While the Elves' Great War may have reduced other cultures like the Tremlin and Orc to meager holdings, Humans alone came out richer and stronger. Humans living in Savia are both more modern and rooted in their ways. The ones that have moved to the expanse of Chicham are adventurous and hardy folk, willing to risk life and limb, or hard work, to own vast lands or start lives free of past wrongs.
Required Prosthetic: Long Elf Ears
Please note that if you wear the popular, shorter, slip on ear you will be considered a “halfsie” in game.
Halfsies
Elfblood Humans
The child of an Elf and a Human, may exhibit either parent's trait (Ms. Hale will determine which via die roll). It is most common for them to be raised among humans, but if raised among Elven kind it is typically as a Monk.
Dwarvish Humans
The child of an Human and a Dwarf may exhibit either parent's trait (Ms. Hale will determine which via die roll). These children are fairly well accepted in either culture and can frequently 'pass' for a rather peculiar but full blooded child of either.
Orcish Humans
The child of a Human and an Orc is a sad tale. They may exhibit either parent's trait (Ms. Hale will determine which via die roll), but finding acceptance is hard. Most live on the outskirts of Human society. The most Orcish ones find themselves welcome in the Orcish Territory.
Please note, prosthetics for halfsie characters may vary (example: an Elfblood Human may look completely Elvin, completely Human, or have shorter ears). While players may make a request for a specific visible trait, the final call on that lies with the GM. Please be sure to email esteluqua@gmail.com in advance to verify if it's extremely important to you.
When building a character, the culture you choose first on the character registration form will be the one your stats are created from.

The Kingdoms

Although no one knows where Humans originated from, instead coming out of the Wilds like savages, it is generally consider that the kingdom of Savia, in the South-West portion of the convenient, is their true homeland. From there they spread, managing to break chunks of holdings away from Elves and carve niches out of the dangerous Wild that were before thought uninhabitable. To their long-lived neighbors, it seems as if the kingdom is always at war with itself as Lords grapple for the Throne, but to the Human mind the Ani family have ruled for a very long time - three generations, in fact, and it's expected that with Venza Ani proposing to the one man that could topple her rule, the Ani family will likely rule for several generations more.

One of the three youngest countries on the continent, and far from the most advanced or safe places to live, Chicham in South Central Estel Uqua is the pride of human kingdoms. With bravery and innovation they carved this vast territory out of the grip of Elves, and beat back the monsters that inhabited it. Tarquin Ginelenet, known for his bravery and willingness to take the lead in any battle, currently sits on the throne, watching the wild lands with one blurry eye with the certain knowledge that it's been too quiet, for too long.
