Cauldron's Keep is a dedicated LARP facility in Dale, Texas. The facilities include makeshift shelters to be used as guild buildings or 'vendors', flat ground for camping and battles with foam padded 'swords", and an area for eating food. Restrooms are Porta Potties, showers and hand washing aside from sanitizing stations are not available, and lodging is via tents. Please bring your own bug spray and sunblock and players should bring a flashlight for walking to and from the campsite at night and please wear solid shoes (no heels) as the ground may have uneven spots. There is a shower at the facility. Please note that the closest hotel is 30 minutes away in Bastrop, and Austin is about 50 minutes away. Gluten-Free meals are provided Saturday and Sunday mornings for events at Cauldron's Keep. Please note that, unless you are vaccinated or have proof of a negative covid test taken within 12 hours of event, face masks will be required, please try to find or create one that works with your character's outfit.

If you can't make the whole weekend, try to make Saturday is probably the best day. The play location here is a Tremlish Outpost.

Please note that all attendees will have some non player-character (NPC) play time. On the consent forms you will need to put in your estimated arrival and departure time, as this will help us figure out those time frames. Being an NPC means playing random monsters, other other game characters, and getting to enjoy tormenting friends.

For those who are driving, a map of the campsite indicating appropriate parking is below. Please note that if you stay, you play (aka, parents beware, Ms. Hale will put you to work!).
